Single Fishtail
1.seperate the hair into 2 equal sections
2.take a piece of hair from the left hand section
3.cross this piece of hair over ontop of the section so that it is now part of the right hand section
4.take a piece of hair from the right hand section
5.cross this over the top of the section so it reaches the left hand side
5.repeat steps 2-4 until you get to the end of the hair
6.tie with a hair bobble
Single Inverted Fishtail
1.seperate the hair into 2 equal sections
2.take a piece of hair from the left hand section
3.cross this piece of hair underneath the section so that it is now part of the right hand section
4.take a piece of hair from the right hand section
5.cross this underneath the section so it reaches the left hand side
5.repeat steps 2-4 until you get to the end of the hair
6.tie with a hair bobble
Double Fishtail
1.split the hair into two equal sections preferably following the part line.
2.split one of these sections into 2 parts
3. do a fishtail braid
4.tie with a bobble
5.repeat steps 2-5 on the other side
to do an inverted version just do the 1st step and then do the inverted fishtail instead of the original fishtail
Change this look completely by pulling gently on the sides of the plaits (pancake) or by pulling randomly at different parts and then it will become messy.

Side Fishtail
1.pull your hair over 1 shoulder
2. do a normal or an inverted fishtail using the instructions above
3.to make sure bits of hair dont fall out,secure the hair with curbies
Change this look completely by pulling gently on the sides of the plaits (pancake) or by pulling randomly at different parts and then it will become messy.
to do an inverted version just do the 1st step and then do the inverted fishtail instead of the original fishtail
3 in 1 fishtail
1.split your hair into 3 sections
2.fishtail each section and secure with a small elastic
3.plait these three fishtails
4.secure this with a hair bobble
laced fishtail
1.pick up a section of hair from the front of your head
2.use the lace braid method (pulled back) but instead of picking up from the top,pick up from the bottom
3.continue the lace braid until the back of the head
4.repeat on the other side
5.secure this with a small elastic
6.fishtail the remaining hair
7.secure with a hair bobble
